In clarinet music, the 20th Century opened with the figure of famous Miguel Yuste, with Julián Menéndez picking up his legacy and Vicente Peñarrocha closing the 100-year period. These three masters of their instrument have become, without a doubt, legends, whose legacies still shine with unwavering splendor in our times.

In this recording we capture their music together with that of three figures belonging to the 21st Century: Enrique Igoa, Georgina Sánchez, and Martín Martín Acevedo; who will perhaps, in the future, become three additional legends of the Spanish clarinet repertoire. Time will tell.

El siglo XX clarinetístico en España se inicia con la figura del insigne Miguel Yuste, continuando su legado Julián Menéndez y cerrando la centuria Vicente Peñarrocha. Estos tres ases del instrumento han sido, sin duda alguna, tres leyendas cuyo legado permanece con inmarcesible fulgor en nuestros días.

En este CD registramos su música junto con la de tres figuras pertenecientes ya al XXI: Enrique Igoa, Georgina Sánchez y Martín Martín Acevedo; quizás, en un futuro, también tres leyendas en el repertorio español de clarinete. El tiempo hablará.
